what do you need to run 35's?

I have searched but didnt really find my answer.
But I have 35"X12.5" BFG Mud Terrains on 16.5" Micky Thompson wheels that I kept after I sold my 1990 lifted Suburban. Is there any way I can put these on my 3/4 ton 1997 Suburban with no lift? I dont want to crank anything and make it ride like crap. Probably cant fit them but they are sitting around and Id like to be able to use them.

I do not believe you can do it without cutting and a bit of a lift.

You could do a body lift. I ran one with 35s and it worked just fine. I know that's lifting it but it's cheap

well it depends. if you arent going to flex or nothin then you could probably get away with a 1 or 2 inch. i would do torsion keys up front and maybe a 1 inch lift. it would still be close.
my tires fit fine i just rubbed at full turn on the driver side frame. but i cleared the tires fine as far as the sheetmetal was concerned.

I'd leave it alone. Those things eat front end parts constantly as-is, they don't need any help from those 35s.
