Looks good! Check your ball joints.....almost guarantee they are going to be shot.

Also, put warn manual lockout's on your list. After running the auto's, then manuals, you gotta upgrade to manuals! No doubt if they will blow up or not or when!

Also, where are your factory tow hooks? Looks like someone swiped them.

Truck looks pretty familiar though..... I had the same awful running boards...but i got power mirrors

I saved my hubcaps when i upgraded wheels and sold the stockers, haha. Good garage decor.

Good idea, "Check ball joints"

Well in the process of doing a tune up. Pulled all the plugs and wire, everything has to be 10+ years old. Wires are cracked and brittle, Plugs are toast, Tips are just about gone I’ll take pics latter. Cap and rotor toasted, contacts all corroded, I had to chisel the rotor off, hope I didn’t F--- up the Dist. Got dark early so I’ll finish her up to night. She should run about 100 times better.

Typical, but yeah it will be like breathing new life into the old girl. Just keep pluging away at the little things like that and it will be a great truck. I'm stoked for ya man!

After talking it over with my Dad last night (he has work on these truck his whole life) I'm going to start off rebuilding the front end. All new bushing, ball Joints, rod ends, Shocks and brakes. I'm think about doing the old add a leaf while i'm at it and Manual lock.

I don't have alot to spend so I will start from the inside out, New Ball Joints and U-joints,brakes and shocks. The Tie rods, manual locks and add a leaf will come later

I want to use the best parts I can for the steering parts.
What brand and where do you buy them?
