New GM 496 c.i. motor
came across this and figured i would pass it along. new for 2001 in GM HD trucks is the 8.1L/496 c.i. motor. link is below.

In case your interested, Its rated at 340HP and 455 ft-lbs of torque (per GM information guide 2/2000. A confidential information guide for GM suppliers). This may be redundent info if you've checked out the link but just wanted to keep us lazies informed. Correct me if I am wrong.
